I booked through the Bonvoy app, then cancelled because booking.com had a better price. When I got there for check in, I was told my reservation was cancelled. I said that I paid the full price and that I saw the charge deducted from my …
This is my favorite hotel on Maui. The reason is first, foremost and only due to their staff. Every front desk person greets you EVERY TIME you walk in the door. The maids look up and say aloha when you’re in the hallways and the bar staff …
Hotel has some pluses- nice pool, clean rooms, friendly front desk. Nice music in the evening. But you pay high prices (!) and get minimalist rooms (not luxury) no help with bags, no room service, noise all day, house cleaning comes late in the day, and the restaurant is totally inflexible and won’t accommodate allergies. For the price, You can do better. But it’s Maui, so maybe not? Also you pay a resort fee (for what?) and parking fee, with a broken parking machine.
It was a decent hotel. Room was fine but unremarkable. It's really not the place for the quiet enjoyment of adults, the pool was crowded with poorly controlled kids the entire time. One family had a naked baby running around and staff declined to tell them to put on a swim diaper or ask them to leave. This makes an unsanitary condition for everyone else. Staff was reasonably quick to respond when I made a noise complaint against our neighbors who were blasting a speaker from the porch next to us.
Breakfast is not worth it. It was $30 for what is basically a continental breakfast, it doesn't even have any hot meats or waffles, just a bunch of cold lunch meats and breads. Would it be too much to ask for to get some coffee in the lobby for what you pay here? Laundry area was nice to have, bring your own detergent.
Maybe go here if you have some Marriot points like we did and want to stay in the Wailea area but otherwise I would keep looking.
The place was just not worth the price. The food was mediocre, the amenities were underwhelming. I found it annoying how the doors didn't have a handicap button to open them so you could get the baggage rack or a stroller through, especially when the room across the hall from us had a handicapped sign on it. It was one of the only places in Hawaii that I had to pay for parking and it was extremely overpriced for self parking. I'd just recommend staying at a Days Inn or something cheaper because that felt like the experience I got from the place. The staff was nice and helpful, the facility just should have cost half of what it did.
Great value at a great location. Staff was great and food/drinks were good too. The actual rooms were spacious and clean, but the walls are VERY thin and we could hear kids crying on both sides of us. Overall we enjoyed our stay
We stayed here in July 23 and it exceeded our expectations. If you are using Marriott points, it is well worth it. Located in Wailea, you have everything close by - food, beaches, shopping.
The rooms are clean and tasteful. The pool area has a beautiful view and a pool attendant who takes drink/food orders throughout the day. We noticed that the pool can get crowded, but we didn't have too much of an issue finding a chair or spot.
Overall, I'd 100% stay here again.
I'm reading some of these other reviews and I think so people are just not happy in life, how or why would you complain about anything when your in Maui, Hawaii ?? Here's our story and this place is awesome, Chill out people and enjoy life.
We needed to be in Hawaii for my sons wedding, which was awesome. I searched the internet and found your Hotel very appealing and your website very user friendly so, I went next level and decided to call the hotel to see if the deal was real and I spoke with 2 different people and both were very professional and most helpful. I actually made multiple calls with questions , I would like to recognize Cheyenne and LJ, along with the entire staff, everyone we had interaction with, they were Amazing !!!!!! The AC Marriott is a 5 star Hotel in my opinion .
